Dr. Chandra Patel, FRACS
Dr. Chandra Patel, FRACS has had more than 25 years’ experience as a highly respected plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He attained his initial medical degree in the UK (1973). He has undertaken extensive plastic surgical training throughout the UK, USA and Australia. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
Since 1997 he has held several senior positions in the ACT, one being the Head of The Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Unit at the Canberra Hospital which is associated with the Australian National University (ANU), Medical School, a world leading University involving the supervision and training of prospective plastic and reconstructive surgeons. His public hospital work is now based at Calvary Hospital offering a valuable service to patients who are not insured privately.
To keep abreast of the latest surgical techniques, Dr Patel regularly participates in cosmetic and plastic surgery conferences in Australia and throughout the world.
Dr Patel is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He is also a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society and the Harold Kleinert Society for Hand Surgery.

Lindy Patel, RN is one of Canberra’s most experienced non surgical facial rejuvenation experts. She has for many years specialised in the latest non surgical regenerative facial treatments including muscle relaxants to treat wrinkles and lines and facial fillers to provide a more youthful facial structure.
Lindy has 30 years continuous experience in plastic surgery nursing and aesthetic care and is a regular attendee at major international conferences on plastic surgery where she keeps up to date with the latest information and technical developments.
