Recovery from Body Lift

Recovery from the body lift procedure will vary depending on the extent of your surgery and the technique needed to achieve your individual goals. Swelling and bruising can be expected, and any discomfort can be alleviated with medication. Results will be apparent almost immediately and will continue to improve as swelling decreases. Dr. Patel generally recommends that you wait at least one to two weeks before returning to your normal daily routines. Additionally, strenuous physical activity should be avoided for at least three to four weeks following surgery.
